Hi, and welcome! I’m Kelley, and this is my very first attempt at a space to share my ideas, projects and thoughts with whoever wants to read them. I have a lot to say and a lot to learn, so I hope you join me on the journey. Things are better together, right?
I live in a tiny little 1300 square foot house with my fiance Joe and our two dogs – Millie, a rescued pitbull mix, and Gracie, a mini dachshund. I’m a liberal and a lifelong Red Sox/NYG fan. I love TV and hate yogurt. I like how banana bread smells but I hate bananas.
I named this blog A Domestic Life because I’ve always been a bit of a homebody, and love to use lots of different techniques to make my home my happy place. From crafts to cooking to organization and decor, I like to personalize my house so it feels like a place I want to come home to, rather than just a bed to sleep in and a kitchen to cook in. I’m learning as I go, and I like everything to either be functional or special, rather than just nice to look at.
Hopefully this blog will grow and this page will evolve with it, but for now, it’s easiest to just tell you that my family is the most important thing in the world to me, I almost always have Netflix on in the background of anything I’m doing, and I firmly believe a bad day can be fixed by a dog that’s excited to see you.
